Rubber City Radio Group (RCRG) is a locally owned and operated multi-media company with four locally programmed radio stations including 94.9 WQMX, 97.5 WONE, 107.3 Alternative Cleveland and 93.5/1590 WAKR.
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Director to lead and manage all aspects of our station’s technology infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring reliable broadcast operations, maintaining IT systems, and guiding our digital transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all IT systems, including networks, servers, and broadcast technology
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of on-air and streaming systems
- Manage cybersecurity, data protection, and disaster recovery planning
- Lead IT projects, including system upgrades and new technology implementation
- Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot system issues
- Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers
- Develop and manage the IT budget
- Ensure compliance with FCC and other relevant regulations
- Stay current with emerging broadcast and IT technologies
